Range is too short though, damage drops off insanely just beyond optimal range, which means a good portion of us have to be within AR Effective and Optimals to use our weapons effectively which means we can be out DPSed at range by a weapon not designed for mid to long range combat.
This will be even more apparent with the introduction of the Rail Rifle.
Yeah its an epic gun...but it doesn't do what its supposed to do.....Range..... very well.

It's about understanding how to use the weapon, which is includes placement during gun fights. If you understan that. its a great weapon still
I have been using the gun since Chromo and didn't drop it during Uprising. I know how to use it. I never said it wasn't a great weapon, IMO its the best and most entertaining, its just not very good at doing what it should be doing.....which is like all amarr weapons DPS at range.

You can both use it as support and frontline.... I only use Amarrian weapons.... you pick up a few tricks people just don't expect when you have been as narrowminded/ focuses as I have with that kind of gear.
